The 2021 guidelines have been in circulation long enough that most trainers believe they teach them. Scenario practice tells a different story: the same three misquotes turn up in course after course, usually inherited from a slide deck nobody has re-checked against the source.

This session works through each one, shows where it came from, and rebuilds the scenario brief so the guideline is what gets assessed.

  • Identify the three points where scenario practice most often drifts from current guidance
  • Rewrite a scenario brief so the adrenaline decision is assessed, not assumed
  • Answer the position-of-casualty question without contradicting the guidelines
